Cuteness Overload

 It has been a mind-numbingly busy holiday time for us at the Lovesick Robot HQ, so we haven't been able to muster up much time for blog posts to keep our readers informed and/or entertained.

Fear not! There are other Etsiers who have their shit together this holiday season, and THEY have blog posts to keep you informed and/or entertained! As if you didn't know that ;)

One Etsier in particular, Petit Hermine, made a really great blog post inspired by that one Target commercial with the dancing robot Santa Claus. Lots of awesome stuff from all over Etsy in there (including our ATAT vinyl decal), and I think I'm going to die from how cute that Tiny Handmade Canbot Robot is.

Thanks for thinking of us, Petit Hermine, and I hope everyone is having a relatively stress-free week before Christmas! \o/

Ship-on-Time Cut Off Dates!

Here are some important dates and methods of shipping for you to remember if you want your domestic packages to arrive to you BEFORE Christmas Day*!

First Class shipping - December 20th (today!)

Priority Shipping - December 21st

Express Shipping - December 22nd

If you would like to send your package with Priority or Express mail, just send us a convo with your order and we'll talk!

*This is what the Post Office tells us -- once your package is in the mail, we unfortunately can't control its punctuality. The P.O.'s been pretty good to us so far, though!

By popular request, we're now offering our Support Our Troops Storm Trooper shirts in black!

These fine tees are 100% cotton! Each tee is screen printed by hand, one at a time, in high quality white textile ink. They are good for your body, and good for the Empire.

Star Trek AND Star Wars Love!

I stayed up until 4am working on this Star Trek-flavored christmas card because I was so excited about the idea... now we're offering it in the shop in packs of 3 and 6!

We're also now offering our most popular vinyl design, the "Support Our Troops" Stormtooper decal, in t-shirt form. A lot of people have been requesting it, so we were happy to deliver!

 

These shirts are available in unisex S-M-L-XL-XXL. We only have black ink on heather gray shirts listed in the shop at the moment, but if you'd like to request a different shirt or ink color, just drop us a Convo or Email!

Urban Garage Sale!

Saturday, December 4th (today!) we will be at the Turner Hall Ballroom in Milwaukee selling our wares at the Urban Garage Sale! If you're in town, come on by to check out our booth from 10am-4pm to get your hands on some local deals!

We'll be offering gift cards, t-shirts, fancy pint glasses, vinyl decals and our line of books there, next to some of Milwaukee's most amazing local artists and vendors (including Jeremy Lowther, Ric Stultz and Jimbot!).

And the best part? EVERYTHING is going to be discounted! T'is the season for holiday shopping, folks, and the Urban Garage Sale is a great place to get some hot local deals :D

New Projects!

Here at Lovesick Robot Labs, we find ourselves experimenting with a LOT of different processes and techniques in order to develop new products. This is mostly due to us getting easily bored and distracted, but it's ALSO because we want to offer fun and interesting services to our customers!

For example, this weekend we knocked out a couple of prototypes during our free-studio hours:

A friend of ours requested an Aperture Laboratories lab coat inspired by the upcoming Portal 2 game that's being released in 2011. The logos screen printed beautifully, so we're thinking of offering these in the shop! Leaving comments to let us know how you feel about that would be most helpful :D

Also, Brent got a sandblasting itch this weekend, so he built a sandblasting cabinet and etched our logo into one of the boring glass mugs we had laying around.

We don't have much of an opportunity to hear from our customers, (which is kind of why we started this blog), so if you like what you see, please let us know! We'd be more than happy to make some of these fine wares for you :D

Treasury Feature: Warm and Fuzzy under $25!

The temperature keeps dropping outside (at least here in the Midwest!), so our winter tasks are clear: Stay Warm, Look Fabulous and Don't Break the Bank! I'm addicted to scarves and cowls, so it took all of my willpower to not make every entry in this treasury a scarf of some sort... maybe I'll do that for the next one! Enjoy!
